Good leaders, managers, teachers, and team members have many styles. Although some styles may be more prevalent in, and may be a "natural fit" with, certain occupational roles (a question about which many opportunities exist for research), there is no "one best style" for any role. VIEW provides you information about your preferences regarding how you deal with change, how you process information, and how you prefer to make decisions. Leaders, managers, teachers, team members, and others all deal with change, process information, and make decisions. Your style influences how you prefer to do these things, but does not, in and of itself, tell you how well you will do these things. Your style will influence how you prefer to engage in the problem solving surrounding your role, and offer some indication of where you may be required to work outside your natural preference. |
