Our research and field experience has demonstrated that it is possible to use the VIEW assessment with both adolescents and adults; it has been demonstrated to be valid and reliable across the age range from 12 through adult. Although younger children may demonstrate personal style preferences, they may not yet be stable and well-defined, and children may not have the maturity and depth of experience to define problem-solving style preferences (in contrast with general learning style preferences) accurately and consistently.
